Once again, trade representatives were impressed by the process security offered by the “Universys” personalisation system. KBA-Metronic’s system is technically equipped to perfectly meet the rising security requirements of the Asian market thanks to its individually personalised cards, labels and/or special scratch off foils to prevent unauthorised usage. Therefore there is nothing to prevent us from meeting the demand for using safety labels at the Universys and indeed, this gives grounds to anticipate successful follow-up business arising from the trade fair. Such safety labels – also known as “sandwich labels” – prevent short-term removal of the label by mechanical or chemical manipulation in order to gain access to the valuable information in the personalised code. Any form of manipulation causes the label to be damaged, therefore invalidating the card before it reaches the commercial sector. The positive response from the trade fair visitors to KBA-Metronic AG’s technical portfolio clearly shows an upward trend in this important South East Asian business sector - long may it continue!
