KBA-Metronic AG, which was founded in 1972, operates as an independent subsidiary of Koenig & Bauer AG. It is totally focused on the worldwide printing and industrial coding markets.
Since 2004, KBA-Metronic AG has expanded its product portfolio to include coding systems (ink jet, laser, hot stamping and thermal transfer), UV offset printing machines which are used to print on smartcards and CD/CDR/DVD media, and a sheet-fed printing machine for A3+ size sheets.
