CD-Print - ideal for small and medium print runs 

Offset printing produces higher quality images on discs as screen and digital printing. And as a result of that, offset printing continues to gain in importance. The quality of what is on the disc should be reflected in the external appearance. Printing systems must be designed to meet the additional challenges posed by decreasing lot sizes. Setup times are becoming more and more important. CD-Print is ideal for small to medium print runs. 6,000 photorealistic prints per hour, minimal startup waste and fast changeover make CD-Print the superior choice. Two additional print stations for decorative colors can be added to the CMYK printing units. In addition to the white basic unit, which comes as standard flat screen printing unit, a varnishing unit can be supplied as optional equipment which gives the disc an appealing finish. 

Premius - for high speed offset printing 

The performance is even more impressive. Up to 7,200 discs/hr can be printed. Premius comes with an unique plate changer for the print-plates, which allow image changes in only 5 minutes. There is no need to adjust registration. All of this adds up to short setup times and high machine utilization. The Premius is build with its unique four-cylinder print units, which contains the anilox roller, ink transfer roller, plate cylinder and blanket cylinder. An intense coating of white primer can be applied to the discs in the screen printing unit prior to the CMYK printing process. Each printing unit has it´s individual UV drier so that every color comes wet on dry. Disc buffers are provided at the infeed and outfeed units to maintain uninterrupted operation even when spindles are changed. Quality devices, such as code-reader, picture control and read-side inspection are also available. A double shuttle configuration doubles the throughput without increasing operating speed, which makes the system very maintenance-friendly. The efficiency of Premius is based on high availability, application flexibility and excellent print quality.
