UDA 150-S Sleeve/Carton Feeder
The UDA150-S is a compact, stand alone system which integrates with all the KBA-Metronic coding devices, for the offline coding of sleeves, cartons, watch strap bands and bags.
The UDA was designed for integration with a wide range of print systems including ink jet, thermal transfer, laser, hot stamp. It is used in conjunction with these technologies to produce BBE and use-by dates, prices and contents information, bar codes and logos, sequential numbering and other variable data.
The UDA 150-S also has applications as a counting system for drug leaflets and booklets for pharmaceutical industry. It is also well suited to addressing and personalization for commercial small format print applications.
Sleeves are transferred from stack to stack and controlled by a photocell. This separates sleeves as they are fed and is a system developed in-house at KBA-Metronic which allowes re-filling of the unprinted sleeve stack even during the printing process. A secondary photocell facilitates precise positioning of prints onto the sleeve or carton.

with hot stamping
for simple, yet effective and cost efficient coding. Ideal for printing BBE, use-by codes, batch numbers, prices etc. Max. print area 50 x 80 mm. Models available for integration with UDA 150-S: M06, MC1 and M05.
with ink jet
the alphaJET continuous ink jet system produce excellent results when printing logos, text, 1D- and 2D-barcodes onto a wide range of substrates at high speed.
with thermal transfer
high resolution coding, for bar codes, text, graphics and dense text/grafics areas e.g. ingredients panels.
with label dispenser
for spot labelling applications onto sleeves, cartons, watch strap bands. Special offers 3 for 2, BOGOF (Buy One Get One Free) etc. Max. print width 600 mm.
Scratch-off
For printing PIN numbers and scratch-off areas on smartcards. The UDA scratch-off is equipped with the KBA-Metronic alphaJET C ink jet and the hot stamp M06 .
